About

Working in collaboration with an agency who lead the visual design, I developed Craft's large-scale marketing website in WordPress and continued supporting its evolution for several years after launch. The site combines a highly visual front‑end with a flexible content architecture designed to support an extensive library of resources and give the internal team the tools to create engaging new pages independently.

Approach

The creative agency provided desktop designs, and I was responsible for translating them into a complete responsive experience. With dense layouts, layered visual elements, and ambitious interactions throughout the site, that meant making design and development decisions around how content should adapt across screen sizes while preserving the energy of the original creative direction.

I also designed and developed the site's previous homepage, creating an interaction-heavy experience built around scroll. The page incorporated horizontal movement, pinned sections, scroll-triggered transitions, and a sequence that allowed visitors to control video playback through their movement down the page. It was an opportunity to experiment with the boundary between design and development, turning a page into an experience without sacrificing usability or performance.

Behind the front end, I developed a modular WordPress system with reusable content components, custom post types, taxonomies, and dynamic relationships. The system gave Craft's team the flexibility to build visually complex pages and manage a growing resource library while maintaining a consistent structure and visual language.
