With a content-heavy site and an audience that includes older users, readability and accessibility were central to the redesign. I restructured dense, text-heavy pages into clear content hierarchies, using thoughtful typography, reusable design components, and visual cues to make complex information easier to scan, digest, and understand.

I designed and developed a flexible WordPress system around the way Russian Riverkeeper actually works, giving staff the tools to maintain content independently without sacrificing consistency. Custom structures support frequent events and volunteer opportunities, while integrated donation tools create clear pathways for visitors to support the organization.
